Hugo A. Foerster, 1016 Westwood Drive, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81. Mr. Foerster had retired in 1952 from the R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. A native of Germany, he was a son of Frederick and Emma Foerster and was born Jan. 3, 1888. He was married to Ella Hillmann. Mr. Foerster attended the First Presbyterian Church and was a member of Header Vega Masonic Lodge at Chicago. Surviving are his wife; a son, Edmund G. Foerster of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Steinbarth of Boca Ratan, Fla., and seven grandchildren. A daughter, Hildegarde Honey Foerster, preceded him in death. Funeral rites are announced for 10 a.m. Friday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. L. K. Wickett officiating. Burial will be Friday afternoon in Acacia Cemetery at Chicago. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday. - jlr
